Slalom Ski Course
A big thanks to Don Whitman and Tim Koby for their hard work fixing the slalom ski course. The course has all new buoys which look great and are easy to see, has been re-secured and adjusted to allow all our skiers on Lake Spivey a safe and proper slalom course to use. Please be reminded, both this course and watercraft not using it properly can be damaged. We have had an increase in maintenance of this course due to improper use, mainly tubers and personal watercraft driving through-out the buoys. Due to the recent damage and high difficulty in maintaining the course, the Lake Safety Patrol will make it a focus point, monitoring its use. LSCA rules and regulations 5.9.1 state "the slalom course is for skiers. Personal Watercraft, Pontoon, deck or other wideboats may not enter the slalom course." A homeowner could be fined $25.00 for not following these rules. We look forward to watching the skiers compete on this course. LSCA
